I'm falling in love with this chassis! It's cool to see someone pushing the bully axles to new heights instead of building status quo.

+1......while I'm running an XR-10 for comps, still have my 2.2 Bully's I want to go back to. Until I get a LOT better, the Bully axles are a decent way to run without fear of breaking things.

They "may" not be the best if you're a really good driver, I believe they can get you close.
Not having to "baby" them is a plus in my book.

Keep up the good work, good luck with your endeavor.

Why do you run the upper links inside the chassis? Just wondering. Killer pic .

Jer,
If you would use all four tires you could have got 1st Place.

Awesome pic...

Thanks! I have run my upper links on the inside and out on different chassis and not noticed a huge difference. I will test them both ways on this chassis, I just haven't spent much time with it as I am thoroughly enthralled with my super. Way more fun

My axles are awesome and the chassis is great, its the electronics are starting to need attention. My esc's are starting to take a crap.

By the way, my wife just saw your quote from 53Willys. Haha. She said," What!? Maybe in labor!"

I was checking that pic out in the BOTW thread so awesome.

Great job on the 2nd place with the super all so tune that thing so you are killing it and don't forget about your 2.2 just a bit of love and it will be back to 1st all the time.

Hey I was wondering how this is working for you. I just got a hall style for my bully and I'm thinking about getting the berg width derlin axle tubes from dlux but I was wondering if you just got the berg axle tubes or if u got the tubes for the bully but the berg width your rear tubes look like the the berg tube. Thanks. EDIT: sorry I realized the answer to my own question I looked at the website wrong.

I run wide tubes made for the bully in the front and stock width tubes in the rear. So I run 850 hubs w/ 1/8" spacer in the back and 350's in the front. Dlux sells the front axle shafts cut the lenght for $75 I think, totally worth it IMO.

I took a little time off from crawling but I've been out driving and feeling a lot better about it again.

I went back to the carbon V4 Droid. I always end up back running this chassis. I've been moving the links and shocks around a lot and I feel it's working really good right now.

Looking nice and low!

Did you ever considered putting the battery on the right front axle tube?
Kind of what people use on the XR10...

I had an Xr10 and ran the battery there. I ruined about 6 batteries like that. The batteries sit up so high that I feel it is counter productive, yes the weight is farther forward but it is so much higher than when the battery is behind the motor. I just put a piece if Velcro on the motor and stick the battery on there. Haven't lost one yet!

Oh ya, SUB 4lb Bully!

I have just been messing around with it. I have a ton of front bias without knuckle weights so I haven't been running any. So I'm sitting at 3lb 15oz. It's killing it.

In light of the new rules, the other day I thought I would go to town on one of my old practice bodies. Body and chassis together are now under 2oz

Kinda digging it. Bodies 26g

This by far is one of my favorite threads Stubs. You have supplied so much detail and information. I am in my first season of competition and I am only running a LNC in the sporty class but I am hoping to run Pro next season. I started looking at the XR10 cause that what most ppl run, but then they became hard to get and now Axial wants 550.00 dollars for the kit I started looking at bergs and bullys and that is what brought me to your thread. I am looking for your opinion on what I should get.
I am fairly handy but lack a lot of the tools required to make many of the mods you have done. I am on very limited funds where that if I spend absolutely no money on anything else, I get 100.00 a month. I have a healthy (or unhealthy depending on how you look at it) fear of screwing something up when trying to modify it. Knowing that little bit about me, would you suggest going the bully route as you did? I know this is putting you on the spot not knowing that much about me, but I value your opinion from seeing your results throughout this thread.

Keep racking up those victories man and thanks in advance for any input.
