Learned my lesson with the battery at ECC and now a lesson in proper maintenance. Thanks for straightening out my crying ass. I did have a great time running the rest of the courses. Just wish i would have finished the last one. It was the best course of the comp by a long shot. Quote:
Ya, man. I am never worried about the axles but i guess i need to start giving the rest of the parts a little more attention. This comp got the comp bug kicking again so i am looking forward to hitting some of your guys comps when they start up. Soon right? | ||

I love that this chassis is lexan so you can paint the inside like a body. This will be a diamond in a sea carbon. I even painted the inside of the skid! But I haven't painted the panels yet. Haha |

I got a chance to drive it for a couple packs today. It sure is weird to look at! It seams so wide now. The chassis works great and looks great also. I remember seeing the first one John made at a RECON comp at the moonrocks. It was painted flat green and I thought it was the first bodyless chassis that looked cool. I was still driving an LCC back then (wow, that was a long time ago!) but 2 or so years later and it's my first bodyless chassis. Funny how things work. I have also been testing some C.I. foam. I am running the 5.5" with soft outers. I have been super happy with my f400's for years. But now that my truck is under 5lbs they just weren't cutting it anymore. I won a $25 gift cert at nats so I went over to Eddie's tent to get a set. After Eddie had semi confused me Joel showed up to thoroughly confuse the hell out of me! So I ended up buying more and now have a lot of testing to do! |

| Re: Stub's Dlux HALLSTYLE Thanks guys! Thanks. I think around a 1/2oz? My carbon droid and excited body where pretty light. Around 2.6oz together. Thanks. I think it's around 4.4lb with 6.6oz of knuckle weight? I'll throw it on the scale when I get home and get a pic. |
