I was reading a thread a wile back (when I noticed the wobble on the servo arm), that adapted a piece of aluminum there! But now I can't find it anymore... Have to look for it again. |

Lets try this again shall we? I have had this parts laying around for some time now but didn't have time to put the wheels together. I changed the design a bit and now they are made of G10. I also had some custom wheel faces made since I was at it. The hardware alone weighs a lot! I would love to have everything aluminum but no budget for that now... My main concern is this... The increase in rotating mass is double of my previous setup. The four tabs that need to be cut on the tire. Soft on Soft is my current setup. Some foam rings were added to the tire sidewall Pulling the beadlock And after some time the finished product. These take much longer to assemble then normal wheels... She's a pig! But there's some nice space over there! New vs Old All done! Nothing to see here!!! STABLE! (And very out of focus!!) Damn, after such a struggle to get my Bully v1 under the 2Kg mark now I'm up again... So now I have to do some testing and see if this is worth it or not. What do you guys think? |

Since photobucket crapped out on me this will almost mean the end of this thread. The car is still evolving and I'm still filming it and taking pictures but I'm not sure I'll take the time to share it. I'm a huge forum platform fan, but I think this is last nail on the forums coffin... But I hope I'm wrong. Great timing, this is my post #500! |

Damn.... Long time since an update! These videos are almost one year old, but haven't used the car much anyway. I'm trying to do some upgrades so lets see how that goes... Videos from Eurocrawl in Cascais, Portugal. I know the comp area well so I had home advantage. Again the car was better than the driver, still I improved 2 places from Eurocrawl in Spain so that was positive. Have to get things going with this car... |

This car now has HH puller 400 (33t bought 2nd hand) D-Lux full brass knuckles + 100g of knuckle weight on each corner. Some more videos of a recent training session. I was struggling with electrical gremlins all day! Traced it to a bad gymbal on the stick radio... The Gopro also corrupted the video of course 3... This car is dialed! Super forgiving and predictable. |

Build break down of my car. This is a bit long video but I was also having fun shooting with 2 cameras. This is Part 1 (axles and wheels), of 2. |

Cool tread! I think its really cool that you have stick with these axles. Mine always treated me well.

I'm happy with the axles and also the car overall. I started with a bomb proof setup and made it as light as it can be. But I've been slowly gathering parts to build some berg axles... I'm not in a rush but I think that's what's coming next. Still, I'm reluctant to dismiss such a good setup that I work so hard to get. |
