And yes, I will go back on saturday night. I promised to help a friend on car repaires on sunday.
Yeah, ok. I was just thinking, that it might be a long comp day with all four courses, but I'm sure you'll get to drive plenty with the new rig!

Good to hear that it's working. You'll love it!

I will be going back home with last ferry, so I hope that gives enough time to enjoy full comp day

First comp behind, finished dead last Didn't really expect much as I finished the rig week before and didn't get to test drive it. Suspension did work nicely, weight balance was for my liking, the only things I was unhappy with were the Voodoo's. I couldn't predict when they were going to bite and from what moment they they would lose grip. I was running them stock width, fronts had some lugs cut.
On way back home I was certain I would ditch the Voodoo's and order up Rovers. But I let that thought sit for a few days. Yesterday it hit me, all the cool kids were running narrowed tires , so why don't I give the Voodoo's one more try. If it doesn't start to snow I can test them out in the weekend.

You shouldn't too much pay attention of the grip in the Bunker. It has always been better place with rivers etc... Once you go outdoors the story will be different.

Was great to have you here!

Good job on those voodoo's!
You have to run them for some time, they get better after some packs.

Went out and tested the narrowed Voodoos, I was literally amazed. There wasn't many places I couldn't drive the rig. Only next time I have to remember to bring the camera along
Holmes's motors showed their power, 4mm rod as rear lower link didn't hold. Oh well, I'll make new ones from the 5mm rod.

After a few days we will have our first comp this season. Not too many test meters run, but the rig feels stable and predictable. So if the driver manages to keep his head cool...

Inspected the rig, the tightening bolt of the servo horn was broken, luckily there was new one in the drawer.

Some pic's from the site

Thanks Samu, had fun and a great day

Took second place today, lost the first place out of my own stupidity with only one point . Went for the very hard bonus on the last course and took the gate marker penalty. Over all I'm very happy how the rig has turned out, now all there is to do is to practice more.

Pic's will follow....

Nice courses! You did really well, if you can keep up with antix. He is the man to beat down there. Good luck for the next one!

Short video from last comp. We drove 3 courses and I messed up the second (took DNF), placed fourth overall. The rig performed very good when the idiot behind the wheel allowed
