Been gone for a bit but I'm back! Turns out the problem was that the magnets in the front motor came away from the can. Sent them out to Holmes and a few days later she's up and running the way she should be. Added some voodoos from Purpmart (awesome tires and great tire setup!) and adding a Creeper Bob Ti rear axle shafts and she's right at 4 pounds

First comp back together with the Holmes Hobbies 500's and she took the win. So far I couldn't be happier.

So would you recommend ordering a taller foam? 6.0? I might try these tires out.

It is going to depend on your setup and driving style (or learning how the tires want to drive). So far my best results have been with a 5.5 soft outer with a tuning ring narrowed, cut and glued (very lightly) to the inside of the tire. Sounds weird but seems to give the lug more support

Well it has once again been some time but the rig has gone through a. Small update - aluminum cross braces on the chassis, aluminum spacers on the shocks, lightweight panels and reworked the wiring - all said she's just under 4 pounds ready to run

Sudu is looking sweet. I like the panels. You may have to get it down a few more grams to be competetive though!! Looking forward to comping with you again.

It's been far to long since the last update - Happy to say the Bullies worked flawlessly at the New England Monster Showdown but unfortunately the driver did not. It really is a testament to the Bullies strength, the rock at Fort Wetherill is some of the grippiest you'll ever find and the cracking presents some the most severely angled rock I've crawled. Finished 4 out of 6 courses (should have finished 5) Some lessons were learned and positive (I think) changes have been made.
The new upper link mounts (A huge thanks to ROCKCRUISER) have definitely improved forward bite , some limiting to the front shocks, and a small geometry change in the front - all in all she is more stable

Weight is down to 1788 grams rtr

Realized the suspension was bottoming out due to the chassis and not the shocks so.... larger external limiters and know flex is down but grip is up - been doing this for over 10 years - can't believe I didn't see this earlier.

Reworked the battery mount due to the top mount upper link mount- actually might lower the cg a little. Plus, with the lexan bolted to my steering stop the battery strap is "captured". Off to the comp

Nice job today and I must say the rig and driver are performing outstanding.
I would say anyone running bully and Sudu would be pleased with your setup

With everyone making updates and my 3d build moving slowly I figured I better look at my Sudu

So here is the update

Added offset rod ends to rear upper link and found a few more mm of squat

Ok - so if offset rod ends are good on one end.... more is better
