Well, since Purp is lagging on getting some silver VooDoos to me, I thought I'd give these a whirl, J-Concepts 6" "Rovers". I removed all of the side lugs to narrow em up a bit but they still look fairly wide. I will report my opinion on them in a few days. |

Haven't had a chance to try the Ripoff Rovers, been showing the Tacoma some love lately. I might head to the Hatchery today though. Wasn't really Purps fault, except yesterday when he forgot to grab my truck shoes off the table before heading to work, all good though, I'm in no hurry. |

Stopped at the Fish Hatchery this morning to try the Fauxvers, I was fairly impressed with them. I think some grooving will help on the larger lugs, the tread area seemed a little stiff. Again, the truck was pulling lines that were previously undo-able with the old Berg. Then carnage happened, the output shaft on the 170T sheared clean off! That ended my crawling day. Hopped in the Taco and headed to A-Main, showed them the problem and before I could blink, a new one was in my hands free of charge! Sorry, didn't get pics of the carnage but got a poser shot in front of the dam. I also ordered some 8* chubs and knucks from RC4WD to do some comparison testing. What a total Poser That place makes me want to go salmon fishing. They call it Combat fishing up there though. You gotta watch out for flying weights and hooks |
