No fishing allowed around there. There's a place under the bridge where you could literally walk across the river on the backs of the salmon and not get a drop of water on your shoes!

Oh ya you need to be a few hundred yards from the entrance to the hatchery i believe. We usually fish down at the outlet from the after bay. FISH ON!

Next time you go fishing, bring the comp rig and let's do some crawling.

Picked up some RC4WD 8* knucks and chubs. Hopefully I'll get a chance to do some testing soon, but this is a busy time of year here in NorCal.

Unfortunately the secret steering rod end mod from the legendary Yotachump will not work with the 8* set-up.
I sure do miss the Chumper.

I wouldn't... and if you can wait a few more days your care package should be a lot more exciting.

Are the arms of the 8* knukcles any longer than of the stock ones?

Well tickle me intrigued! I have all the time in the world when it comes to care packages from SMW!

Most likely, they are the closest club to me and I love Folsom for comping.

I'd really like to make a Nor-Cal comp but that would mean a 4 or so hour drive each way for me.
I tried to convince Sloski to hold one at Folsom, but he's a thick headed, crotchety old bastard.

Just thinking of the new terrain that has been exposed due to the water level makes me all giggiddy!

So a small update, stopped by the Fish Hatchery yesterday for a few packs. Within ten minutes the Pro-Tec 170T servo stripped the horn and the splines on the output shaft rounded off as well. Back to the trusty Hitec 7950. Sorry, no pics, my day was cut short.

I recently received a surprise package in the mail from my good buddy Rob B. at SMW. Included was a new skid, a keychain, and a sticker for my 1:1 rig. Fitment on the skid was spot on, now I need to make an electronics plate on the front axle. I forgot to toss the new skid on the scale to compare weight to the old Delrin one. I also got a bit crazy the other night with my trusty Makita grinder with a flap disc and my Dremel. On to the pics..........................

Not impressed. Where is the axle shaft? Otherwise, looks good!
