Finally got some better pics of the new SMW skid, pretty cool how the edges wrap up the chassis plates. I also like the look of the top of the skid, being able to see all of the patterns inside of the different materials and how it's printed is interesting. Even better after some MMJ!

Had to add a little bling to the rear axle tube!
That sticker was a perfect fit on the flat top of the tube.

I'm planning on mounting the electronics on the back of the front axle. I think I'm going to make another 5hr. energy bottle motor cover and leave part of it long and fold it out to protect the BR minis. Hope I explained that well, it's after my smoking time.

Still need to wire everything up, but here's the new motor skid/electronics holder. The de-cased Rx(not pictured) will mount on top of the BR minis.

maybe you should have had creeperbob knurle the rear shafts for more bite on the rocks, for when you expose it..............
Foul, illegal..........................if I ever make it to a comp.

From the sounds of it that's not a sight to be seen anymore.

Jumped on a scale the other day, it read 195, I used to be 155-160 in my comp crawling days! I don't work out so it's not muscle, getting fat and old.

Finally made a proper electronics mount/motor skid/servo skid, it's a little larfey, but I don't have a ton of fancy tools so I worked with what I had. My build skills also worked to add 1oz of lead to my RC4WD knuckle weights.
ShoeGoo is my go to adhesive, I love the stuff!

The RC4WD weights are 25g each, two per side plus the 28g of lead, so about 78g per knuckle.
