| RS10 TX Range
I don't get to use my Rockslide a lot, however it seems to be loseing range. Yesterday The stock FM Tx@ 10.2v would allow me to range out about 20' before I would lose control. Does'nt seem right. Question is, what is the range of the Stock radio? Or what is the solution? Thanks John |

put in some fresh batteries, your gun should run about 12v, should get you 35 to 40 feet i would say, enough for a crawler lol. i am also still running FM, I keep eying a digital upgrade.

I still run a stock radio and yeah, you only get about 20' on it, ever. I always change my batteries once it drops below 11 volts too. I'm holding out for a good 4 or 6 channel system. -in the meantime, Give this a read through. some tips to keep the system you have at least running at it's best. Stop Radio Glitching |

It does not work with 4ws out of the box. But there is a hack for it that will allow for the 4ws to work... I have the FS and love it, just locked out the rear steer and went that route for now. I can practically run my rc all the way down my street with no issues.. Also I found one of my AA lthm battery chargers plugs directly into transmitter to easily charge.. |

Website: http://overkillrc.webs.com/products....roduct=5583397 RCC Thread that talks about the hacked radio and features: GT3B Hack Question and Answer Thread You can buy them pre-hacked and in a few different options. 32_d3gr33s, check out the GT3B hack thread for a full list of features. Out of the box, the unhacked radio only has a 2 position 3rd channel. If you buy the hacked version, you'll be able to use your rear steer. |
