What's the reason for everyone ditching the rear steering?

The stock foam doesn't fill out the tires fully...a lot of people run the Nova's Ark foams, which can be purchased here on the forum. I use the Vanquish Products adjustable foam in mine. Also, people remove the rear steer for various reasons. For one, it's not comp legal to have it...and for me, the novelty value of the rear steer wore off quickly. I found that the wheels would move when I didn't want them to if I was in front steer only mode.

Well, I haven't heard back from the eBay story that I purchased my redcat from, fxhobbies. Has anyone else ordered from this company? Any positive feed back as far as customer service goes. I really don't want to wait till the end of April to get it.
