Default Light at the end of the tunnel

Wow. These LEDs kick out some serious candle power.

Okay after about ten days of FRUSTRATION I finally got back on track here. Too humid and cold to paint so I will start working on the FPV cam installation today.

Here's some pics of the teensy Wifi cam I will be installing so it looks out the windshield.

Spent 5 hours prepping for paint. Just got the first tack coat of primer on the shell. Never again...

Default Camo Base Coat Complete

Prior to water transfer printing I laid down a camo base coat to make the M2D Camo print work even better.

Default Water Transfer Print over Camo Paint Work

Well here are the results with one can of Testors Dullcote applied to seal the transfer to the freshly painted shell and protect the work.

The bezels are also dipped and painted and drying.

Next up peeling the masking and installing the LEDs.

Default Client Feedback

Just thought I would document this feedback I got from my client.

[quote}Hey man, I wanted to drop you a note to let you know how the “ Creeper Clone “ has been doing. It has been great. The whole thing has performed great. It has held up well. The finish that you engineered has been extremely durable. I let it dry and cure for over a month before I bumped or rubbed it against anything while running it and the finish became very durable. It still looks new. The way you “Bullet Proofed” the whole rig has been awesome. The thing just goes and goes. It seems like it will last for years. I have had people ask me where I got it and I have told them it is a one of a kind custom built by you and they were very impressed.
Like I said, I just wanted to drop You a note and let you know how the rig has held up and how happy I am with it. Thanks again.[/quote]
