Maybe try a different shell...this one weighs a ton when it's painted.

I like the brackets you made to run it with no body looks sweet! Have u tried your hand in making a tube chassis for the rs10 ?

I wouldn't. Too heavy for a crawler. When I make a tuber it'll be something like a Yeti killer with shaft drive etc etc. The idea with MOA is to take advantage of the weight on the axles and keep everything above the axle as light as possible.

A carbon strut chassis (with 3D printed sockets) that assembles kind of like a tinker toy would be more like something I think of building. Super light, super strong, modular, cheap (if you had a 3D printer) and that would look like a tuber.

The reason you see so many chassis plate/skid designs is that is the easiest thing to make...flat work and spacers basically. Anyone with access to a CNC router or something like that can bang out plates for production and you can find tasty spacers and HW to put together a package.

I like the idea of making something that is not plates, but I can't realize the ideas at this time.

Why are useless assholes rating down threads they have no interest in? If someone doesn't like RedCat stay the **** off this part of the forum. How is this a 2 star thread? Design and fab and chassis from scratch, paint and light a shell. Show every step of the process in case it helps someone else and at the end of the day some **** comes in and shits on it. Thanks RCC.
