I gutted a bomber chassis. Had to shorten the frame in the back. I believe I have it in one of my threads.

Let me see if I can find a link.

These are pictures from when I first got the cage on.

Hobbytech CRX Survival body ... easy fit with trimming on inner fenders and cuts in bed.

Very thick lexan, pre-cut with no holes pre-drilled. Comes with a separate front end (with added grill) and accessories that I haven't all installed yet (front and rear military style bumpers, jerrycans, snorkel, door handles, mirrors and wipers).

Update: I was using a servo relocation mount, for this body it pushed it forward 1/2 in, this throwing the wheel placement off. I removed the mount. Everything looks better with this body.

I have to make a few modifications to "fit well.” Nature of the beast?
I’m trying to do this right now.
I’ve moved all the links in. The shocks to the inner most upper points. The wheel base is measure the out correctly. The body feels a tad shorter than 12.3. Maybe my eye is off and I’m referencing the center of the wheel well incorrectly. I’m not running posts through the body. It will be secured via magnet or something else I come up with. I would really really prefer not putting holes in the bed. The rear shock towers are tall/ the bed is low. Trying to figure a way to drop the rear.
I’ve seen cantilevers as an option.

Excuse the crap cuts. I can’t scissor.
Also the mess if you find yourself in the album.
