The Clod is dead. Long live the Clod.

How very innovative and what great workmanship.

It looks like this rig and driver placed very well over the weekend at Vanquish Products LaGuerra en Rocas Rojo. Congratulations Bender.

Do you have any updated photos or video of this rig?

Thanks, I did manage to squeak my way into the top 5 in supers. I've been competing with this rig in supers for years and it still does very well for not having dig. I do have a 4PK coming from Futaba and I won a Novak electronic dig at the AWCC comp. So, hopefully I'll have dig installed by the time Worlds rolls around.

I will try and get some new photos posted soon, but it's still relatively the same rig. I did just switch out to our Axial comp shocks, and mounted a new Rat Rod body up though.

My belly clearance right now is 5" at full droop of the shocks. I was at about 4 1/2" but recently switch to Axial shocks which raised me up a little. I'm going to switch to stiffer springs and moved the upper mounts back a few holes to get me down where I was before though.

Don't even think about running that Novak dig with the 4PK!

I have a Super Class setup listed in the 4PK thread. Just If your running dual ESC's anyway there is no need for that switch.

I don't have my super here, but if I remember right my upper and lower links measure in the 7" range.

What wheel base are you going for difflocker? I have two sets of links, one for 16 3/8 wheel base and one for 17 3/4 wheel base. I love my SW2 clod Super. I run two open side plates to reduce weight. Great chassis Bender

I am looking at the 17 3/4 wheelbase. What rod ends are you using and what is the measurement for the links and eye to eye?

She is going through a rebuild now for nationals. I will try to snap some pictures as I go. Jumping to dual ESC's with my 4PK, running MaxAmps 5250mah 3s lipos now, installed better servos a while back, just installed aluminum lockers front and rear while at the Rojo comp, installed aluminum 23mm adapters, etc. I am running the Rat Rod body now too.

Here's a couple pictures before the rebuild started.

Thanks for the info

So is Axial going to step up and produce an XR10 type axle with long tubes to compete with the Super Bully Axles from RC4WD? The "Super BUZZ" is getting louder from the rocks!!!!

Still in exactly the same condition.

I usually drive it once, maybe twice a year. Other then that it sits on a shelf in my man cave.
