Not sure which rig you're referring to from the Colorado comp vids.
Could have sworn I saw a Silver HPI Bug w/ the same decals in a video?:?

Ah I see, that was my 2.2 rig. The bug body was really for the 2.2 rig. I threw it on the Clod for the hell of it, and did consider using it. But, it's just waaaaaay too small for this rig.

I'm painting up a "Dirk Pleazer" for this rig now.

Oooooooh, I just watched the video again and I was like, "that's the same body?":? Cool, can't wait to see it in action. I am curious to here your opinions of the Delrin in actual competition!

I got to do a little testing yesterday afternoon. The next few tweaks that must be done are............stiffer springs and oil, a 10t pinion in front, and some weight in the front wheels. The rear was stalling out quite a bit on steep climbs, and the front wants to walk all over. But, it was still very capable, and seems like it's going to work great after these next few adjustments. I had a few decent rolls off a steep face too. So far the links show no signs of fatigue. It does glide over the rocks and sharp ledges with ease, because of the Delrin links and skid, which is nice.

Yes, the SW2 does come with a Delrin skid plate.

I got the body painted and the 10t pinion installed in front. It's working really good now, hardly any stall. I still need to add thicker oil to the shocks too.

A few pics....

I didn't bother to read through all the other post to see if someone else mentioned it but one of your chassis side plates need to be flipped around the other way. Your patterns don't match.

Look in this pic

The patterns might not match, but the mounting holes seem too.

If you flip one side around the mounting holes will line up still.

You're right. But, if I flip it around to match the other side, the logo will be on the inside. I'm using 2 engraved SW2 plates on this chassis.

Why is that? Looks like normal XL's to me.

Nice job on the Pleazer. I like that theme you got going with your crawlers.
I bet that's gonna kick some butt.

Thanks for the compliment. It is more capable then my TXT, because of the extra wheelbase.

I'm not sure yet, I still need to test the durability of the links more.

Thanks. The tires are just standard Moab XL's.
