I got to do a little testing yesterday afternoon. The next few tweaks that must be done are............stiffer springs and oil, a 10t pinion in front, and some weight in the front wheels. The rear was stalling out quite a bit on steep climbs, and the front wants to walk all over. But, it was still very capable, and seems like it's going to work great after these next few adjustments. I had a few decent rolls off a steep face too. So far the links show no signs of fatigue. It does glide over the rocks and sharp ledges with ease, because of the Delrin links and skid, which is nice.

I got the body painted and the 10t pinion installed in front. It's working really good now, hardly any stall. I still need to add thicker oil to the shocks too. A few pics.... Last edited by BENDER; 03-24-2006 at 09:17 PM. |

I didn't bother to read through all the other post to see if someone else mentioned it but one of your chassis side plates need to be flipped around the other way. Your patterns don't match. Look in this pic |
