That's the thing about the orange truck body on JYD. It didn't need much trimming but I absolutely hated the way it looked with the 18" WB.

Nothing worth posting. I did pick-up a pair of 55t motors, and the steering servos.

Yeah, the body I have for the dually project looks cool on this rig, but I'd have to hack it up big time to clear the wheels.

Thanks! My wife loves the body and I'm trying to get her into crawling. Thought I might get one for the 2.2 and surprise her!

There's another company that makes a bug body that looks like the old school beetle, it includes light and other shiz, I'll try to find a link to it. It's lexan by the way.

Thanks.

The rock rings are just 3/4" steel flat washers that I sandblasted and drilled a bolt circle in. They add a little weight to my wheels which helps stability in off camber situations.

Bender, where are you getting your 55t motors at. All the LHS's around here cannot get any. And all the online stores say that they are backordered. Any help would be greatly appreciated.I have the cash, just don't have a paypal account.

I bought them locally, hobby shops around the Denver area have been stocking parts for us more and more lately.

I can check to see if they have any more.

Well, it's finally alive and running. Seems like it's going to work pretty good too, it practically drives itself. I think it may need some stiffer oil and springs, but more testing is needed. I may go to Trinity's black springs for the Maxx and some 60wt oil.

Saw it climb in the video section, seemed to do really well. What are your impressions of the Delrin links? I bought some 1/4 inch delrin to use on my 2.2.

It hasn't seen any rocks yet, only a set of concrete stairs.

Not sure which rig you're referring to from the Colorado comp vids.
