Sorry guys, no where near done yet. As for the wheels and tires, I really like the wheels I have found, and unless I find some killer 2.2's I think i am going to stick with the wild willy wheels and tires. As for the pic in the sig, I think that you go to the profile button and you can add a pic or what ever to the sig. Unless you are refering to where i grabbed the picture, its from here: But this is still my favorite.... Both were taken just down the road from my house.[/img] |

The t-case was built using steel gears that came out of a drill. The case was milled out of aluminum. The t-case was not too hard to build using my mill, but before i purchase the mill and made the t-case for the dually, it was a royal pain in the ass. I used a 3/4" drill bit, dremel, file and hacksaw. That was a very painful, labor intensive project. Here are a few more pics of the jeep, still not done. The exhaust is done, the motor is mounted to run the fan and pullies up front and the main drive motor is installed. I drove it for the first time last weekend and it did pretty darn good. |

Ok, so i am a little slow with pics on this beast. Here we go: The front bumper is done and mounted. The carb, intake and air cleaner are also done. I mounted the Pk2 motor in the engine block and have run one pack through it and its pretty cool. Now I need a firewall, mount the hood, paint, Aluminum box in the back of the jeep for the electronics and a full length rear skid to hide the battery. I am currently waiting on some new, beafier leaf springs for the truck. It is not too heavy, but there is a bit of weight up front because of the engine block so I needed heavier springs from the mammoth dump truck. Nate |

It's coming along great. Just a few things for realism. TJ jeeps have coils not leafs and the drag link should got to the passenger side knuckle not the driver side. Now I don't feel so bad when someone tells me I have too much time on my hands for making my tube buggy. Sweet rig that's for sure. I can't believe you made headers too that's pretty impressive. |

I must be a four link dope or something because everytime I build a 4 link I hate the way it drives. I have tried everything that I can think of and even purchased automotive design books and I still dont care for the way they drive. So while the rubicons do have coil springs, I perfer the feel of the leafs. As for the drag link, that is something that was over looked . Thanks for all the great comments, and I love the headers too. Nate |

Well guys, here are some more updates: The jugg 3 leaf packs have been replaced with mammoth 5 leaf packs. This was a huge help to support the weight of the engine block. Did I mention the hardtop that I custom made, and the hood is mounted. Now work on the beast is a pain in the rear, just like the real thing. Then I moved the front shackles to the rear of the front leaf to move the axle forward about a quarter inch and to improve the suspension travel. Finally, I have added some custom racing seats. Wow this is amazing... Looks like the skid plates are from a jugg truck and are you running the axles upside down? That is what is looks like to me... Very nice work!
