Well we have another CMRCRC GTG tomorrow and I can't wait. I installed my HH Revolver (brushless motor) and Mamba ESC in the XL4. Can't wait to see how it compares to the 55t lathe. I'll post up pics and a report tomorrow after the GTG.

I like to use the Castle Link for setting up my brushless-it keeps me from going 'batty'! Plus you can do very useful braking!

Well the CMRCRC GTG was a blast, got to crawl w/ Greg and the P4 again and it impresses more and more. Definitely got a winner on your hands there Tyler! Also crawled w/ Eric 's new SW2 (sweet new Power Wagon body Eric) and Benders chassis is beautiful, the craftsmanship is outstanding. It also crawled very well. The 2.2 class here in Missouri just keeps getting tougher.

Also, Johnrob brought one of Micro Goats Barnyard Buster scale chassis out w/ his exo caged body. It was pretty cool. The chassis is so cool. I would love to have one someday.

As for the Grunt, well Johnrob helped me w/ the programing on my Mamba enough to were I was able to crawl (after the GTG we went to Johnrobs and he hooked it up to his Castle Link and programmed it to the proper specs.) well enough to get a feel for the HH Revolver Outrunner motor. All I can say is WOW!!! This tiny little motor has SO much power it is unbelievable! I better stock up on TLT axle shafts.

All in all it was a great day. We had a great turn out and alot of carnage. Several gears, axles were stripped, and I broke the ears off my front servo on the Corporal. I'll have pics up soon!

How did you get the Revo shafts to the stealth tranny? What parts are needed?

you sue a 3/8" drill bit and drill out the center of the maxx end. then slide it over the tranny output and drill a hole through the tranny output to accept the maxx grub screw

Yeah, that's how I did it as well.

Order these and remove the axle stub.

It definetly has more power than the lathe, better is a matter of opinion. I liked it!

Man for some reason it just now clicked. I have read it dozen times on how to do it. But it wouldn't sink in. I got it now. Thats about as easy as it gets.

Well, I installed my aluminum knuckles on the Grunt, Very easy install and they look great.

Wanted to try my mashers out, but I need to trim the Grunts body a little more. So I grabber the Rubi that I used to run on the Corporal and mounted it for a quick test run. Took a few pics while I was out.

The Mashers really work well. At least as well as the Moabs if not better. I will most likely trim up the Grunts body and try them at the next CMRCRC GTG or comp. Enjoy!

Lookin cool man! Those tires seem to hook up better at capen compared to the moabs I found. On your terrain it looks like the bite would be better as well. The powdery rocks around here make a moab slick. You managed to gear down any?

Just waiting on a simple pinion gear at the moment. Thanks for the compliment.
