Your right, the TopCad TA-05 steering knuckles are the same price as the Yeah Racing ones...and they even look the same!

http://www.rcmart.com/catalog/produc...ducts_id=17015

The TopCad TLT-1 steering knuckles on RCMart.com were about double the price, but for some reason they arent available anymore...or I just cant find them.

I ordered the TopCAD knuckles for TA05 from rcMart.com, and they were like $6.9 / pair.. but yeah, if you order it from the TLT section, then, they are like $15 a pair..

But technically, they are the same.... hmm.........

I will wait for my TA05 unit and see if they fit okay..

Deffinately a good find on the price.... I just paid a whole lot more, however, I couldn't stand the blue anodizied so I soaked them for 8 hours in Easy off, which got rid of most of it and then used the wire wheel on the dremel to clear the rest, now they are nice and shinny!

I ordered mine in silver to begin with, so I won't be needing to strip of the color!

IF I had known about the TopCad knuckles before I ordered the Yeah Racing ones, I probably would have gotten those in silver too

Same here, I ordered before I realized the TA05 worked on the TLT so all I could find was blue.

Are those 2 holes on the steering arm threaded holes?

If they are, I might need to drill the threads out so I can fit these screws through the holes, right??

http://www.junfac.com/option_tlt_steering.htm

I am going to try to relocate the connecting arm to above the knuckles.. (I guess I can always just get new screws... that's threaded all the way..)

I am sure it is easy mod...

Waiting for both to come in.... (also ordered the TLT skid plate from the same site as well..)

http://www.junfac.com/option_tlt_skid.htm

Can't wait to put everything together!!

Yeah they are threaded to fit the stock ball studs, so you may or may not have to drill out the holes for the JunFac setup....you'll need to try it to see

Now I looked at it again carefully and it doesn't look like I will need it.. because the screw goes from top to the bottom, and have the threaded part of the screw goes through the steering arm.. so I think I should be fine!

Hope having 2 fat bars above the steering knuckles won't create much interference!

Mine is not really a rock crawler so I don't really need to run them above, but just thought it would be cool to do so.. esp. with aluminum knuckles as I won't need to worry about them flexing anymore.. so I can run both links on top..

We will see!!

That's where I got mine, are you putting them on properly? One side is longer than the other, make sure they mounted correctly. If not, they will bind! However, I did receive one that was not correct, but nothing that a dremel and a washer didn't take care of in 20 seconds.

All of these knuckles regardless of who sold them are made by GPM. So they should be working fine if infact you got the ones for TLT or TA05. My problem was that GPM packaged two of the same side in one package. So when I moved it to incorrect side the longer part of the knuckle was on top and the shorter on the bottom, I just used the dremel to take a bit of material off of the longer post and a washwer to take up the space on the shorter side. AND just to be sure, that you are mounting them correctly, the longer side goes to the bottom of the axle.

Are they really all made by GPM, and just put in different packaging?

I find it hard to believe because the knuckles I have are of good quality, and in the past when I've bought GPM gear for my other RCs, most of it didnt fit properly at all.

The worst was the GPM parts that I tried on my brushless Mini-T....they were garbage!
