As soon as I had seen the pics I thought of using Autococker paintball gun hoses and barbs to do something similar, you could use the cocking rams as shocks even if you wanted to get real creative! Very expensive though at at least $30 a ram... plus LPR's and hosing. Although a individual servo run LPR (low pressure regualtor) on each corner to adjust pressures, with a QEV for a bleed would be cool. I probably just confused everyone who doesn't paintball

But what's really cool about his setup is that it is simple and inexpensive.

Yes, but the main reason I thought of that was because it combines two of my hobbies It would be very expensive, and very impractical.

i understood it, the cocker hose and barbs would definetly work i think. but all that seems a little too complicated.

hey this is cool, but how do you pressurize the system, i know you dont use a foot pump.
also how often do you need to check the pressure?
does it leak down, i really want to see a video

you could use a mountian bike air shock pump. Low volume high pressure.

For real - Where else can you going to find so much innovation?

How about servo winches front and rear connected to the axles to pretension either end for climbs/descents. Just like the big boys do, since we're using all their other tech in RC crawling.

id guess the next step is to use all this tech in a single crawler and figure out how to make a nitro engine good for rc rock crawling for the final touch of scalism.

I had this setup on my first tuber. I was told it wasn't "comp legal" so I ditched it. I have to say though, It worked GREAT.
Finished comp buggy "MAC"
