| I thought of that, but I think I am going to get this one working, and then just but a SCX10 and make either a D90 or a Wrangler

Go to this site: http://www.rcrockcrawling.com/index....b4d22b229c712e The one I ordered is the 2:1 GRU, Reason is it is not that slow (like 4:1) but it give you quite a bit more torque. These units are direct fit on a 540 sized motor, but some cutting of the battery tray is needed. Your rig looks awesome though. I've followed your build on another forum. Loved it then, and still love it..... |

You can also use an inexpensive gd 600 http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...+600&search=Go you only need to turn down the pinion shaft and you have a 2.5:1 reduction, i also used an outrunner fron jrh and i am still able to use regular stick packs http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...+600&search=Go check out the speed. |

Thanks, but a GRU is the very last thing I am going to look into. I just need to get the truck running. I also discovered the that the gears are not meshing at all. I may get a larger pinion or find a way to move the motor over a hair.

| You will know all in good time my friend. I will however say that my painting job sucks because the tape didnt always touch where the colors are different, and it ran under. I think it still looks really cool too. Also, I know have a driver to tell the story for himself Last edited by LR3; 08-07-2010 at 07:17 PM. |

35 integy with a 2:1 GRU on 2s lipo is the honey hole setup man, i just put the 35t in mine and ran it. Tons of torque and still some decent wheel speed for those spots where its needed.
