I would definitely be buying a set as soon as they are ready! Pitbull tires are a proven winner, so I say the more options the better!!! I'm with the 4.19" crowd on height, and would like to see a 1"-1.125" wide tire to keep it a lil narrower for the C1 body's without fender flares? And thicker sidewalls are a great idea as well. I would say sidewall to sidewall. Most 1:1 tires, the sidewall is wider then the tread. The 1.55 Iroks are a good example of tread to wide for side wall. Doesn't look realistic at all. The 1.9 RokLox are much more realistic to the actual 1:1 "Iroks". I think if going with a 4.2 or so tire height, then 1.25 would be a good sidewall width with thread a bit narrower. |

Okay guys...working on these blueprints...but I need to know opinions We've all settled on 4.19" OD...that's done. Now we need to figure out the Section Width (for our purposes Overall Width) If we make the tire 1.125 SW (OW), then the Tread Width will need to be .938 If we make the tire 1.192 Tread Width, then the SW or Overall Width will be about 1.43...which is exactly scaled down from our 31x1050R15LT Growler What are your thoughts? |

I'd just stick with scaling them down exactly to the 1:1 tire, .938 seems a bit narrow to me for a 4.19" tall tire.

4.19" x 1.5-1.75" I myself am tired of skinny tires. Hate them. Bring the wide 19.5 look back. |
