Nova I see that you have the tires, but do you have the new CI 1.55 foams as well? I would go for a set too (i mean in combo ;)

The 1.55 Growler comes with dual stage foams from Pit Bull. They are a conventional foam compound. CI will offer a Growler Tire & CI Foam Combo once we have tested the 1.55 dual stage foams. That will probably be 4-5 weeks from now before they will be in stock and ready to ship. | |

Here is my set of Pit Bull Growlers mounted on my class 1 Toyota: The 1.55 dual stage foam are performing great. My front wheels have one wrap of 1/4" thick lead weight around them. I had to clearance the 1.55 to clear the weights. I'm running soft outers in front and medium outers in the rear. At 8 pounds 7 ounces, this truck is not light weight: The CI closed cell 1.55 inner foam is designed specifically for the growler tire. I am currently using the 1.9 Lil' Nova Outer narrowed to 1.50" width. The I.D. of the 1.9 outer is bigger than the 1.55 O.D. by a little bit. It doesn't matter once it's installed in the tire though. Also... The 4.25" Lil Nova will fit in the Growler, but it's not the correct foam. It's I.D. is taller and it doesn't crawl as well because it makes the tire much stiffer. The 4.25" did clear my lead weights on the rc3wd wheels, but I do not recommend this foam in the growler. The 1.55 inner trimmed to clear any lead weight is a much better performer. The PB tires and CI foams mounted up easily. The tires have a great bead design and they hold to the RC3WD wheels excellent. The compound on the rocks is amazing. As time allows I will get a short video of this truck on the rocks put together for the CI youtube channel. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

hmmm you might have a problem with your truck if it's only RC3WD ;) I will wait for your expertise on the foams before ordering anything ;) and I will weight my rig before choosing the outer...mine might be heavier in the front since the battery is mounted on the side sliders and the electro is all in the front...I might put some weight in the spare in the back to balance it better...

| Re: Official Review - Pit Bull Growler - 1.55 You don't have to drive them to notice the superior quality of the rubber and design of the Growler tire right out of the package. It gets even better when you put these tires on the rocks and you see the performance increase . |

| Re: Official Review - Pit Bull Growler - 1.55 True Eddie, but to proclaim that there are the best class 1 tires on the market without driving them is pretty arrogant. I mean, he's right , but at least drive them first |
