I just got a set of the 2.2 Steel 10 hole black beadlocks and they are the best I have ever had. They work great on my Rock Beast IIs but I have a question. How tight do you go? I'm using Vanquish hubs and hardware which work great with the wheels but is there a tip or guide on how tight to go one the six bolts? There is a pretty good gap between the front and back of the wheels due to the thickness of the tire's beds. Is it normal?

I'm pretty sure these work with vp hubs. I think it even says so in this thread. But you have to use go specific hardware. As these use metric and vp use imperial.

I can offer up my poison spider hubs to these tomorrow as they use the same pcd as vp

You should be able to close the gap without any problems. Just tighten all the screws evenly a little at at a time.

x2 and in a cross pattern just like tightening lug nuts on a real car.

Wish the width was: 32mm and
Backspacing: 22mm or a little more

Just got a set a was having probs with the scale bolts...until I jumped on here and saw Gavinda's post. Great idea! Made up a driver and it works like a champ. Threaded rod with a 3mm button head in the end, a piece a silicone vac hose for a grip.

Like the wheels so far, haven't been beat on yet though.

FYI,I installed with the stock Axial hubs.

So I did figure it out. The SSD-RC hubs measure .240", using a VP .475 hub for reference. So if you want a slightly wider track width run VP 350 hubs. Slightly narrower use the 225 hubs. I have some tire rubbing on my tie rod since I'm using the VP Zero Ackerman knuckles. So I going order some 350 hubs.

Any update on the 2.2 Assassin? Getting ready to pull the trigger on the 10 holes but would love to get the Assassins if they are coming out soon enough. Stock Yeti wheels arent holding tires anymore.

Also, what width VP hubs are people using to get close to the stock track width with these wheels?

The 2.2" Assassins have been delayed a few weeks.

You could always use this instead of offset hubs on your Yeti: WIDE REAR AXLE KIT

I used the stock Yeti hubs, been working fine. I'll update also that I've put the wheels through a few bash sesions, and they've held up great. Full throttle 3s in the snow and no bead movement. Love the wheels.

No other rings will fit that I am aware of. We may offer some different ring styles in the future if the demand is there...
