After a number of years in rc helicopters and now this cool hobby (which, by the way, is almost as expensive but much less prone to total destruction in the blink of an eye) i have found this too be much better then power.

It is almost as fast, has a clutch (you) that is very sensitive, and is very light weight , virtually never strips out a plastic fastener.

I use MIP driver bits. And mip hand drivers. Amazing quality.

For the drivers I use a Bosch 12v 1/4” driver/impact.

I’ve had this for two years and it is perfect for this hobby
Can be used straight or pistol grip and has a clutch. Battery lasts forever too

always done all my 1:1 and rc wrenching by hand. decided to pick up a little electric screw driver after assembling my rock rey kit.
did a bunch of research and pick this one out.

had variable speed, led light, battery indicator, battery lasts 18 months, magnetic chuck, fast charger (also my android charger would work), 2 year warranty, and can swivel and turn into a straight driver, instead of pistol grip.
turns out Lowes had the best price online at $29, and then say my local store had them instock.

swivieled/straight

also picked up MIP metric speed set

got driver home, and despite it being listed as a 0-190 RPM motor, it is NOT variable speed , just on/off. i was ok with it not having a clutch if i could control speed. so well see how it works out. i have no plans to drive it to the bottom, so it might work out, still gonna final tighten them by hand.

I have had my Milwaukee M12 driver for a little over a year and have been very happy with it. Variable speed with adjustable clutch. I'm also using the MIP hex bits.
