Do you want to send me your axle from Queensland?
If you do, send me some Cooper's Ale too.

I don't have an axle and I don't know the BHC (bolt hole circle measurement).
I could make some if I had an accurate reliable number. I would also need to know how much angle people want to index the trans case, less than 20* will have issues with clearing the mounting screw with the drill.

I am getting ready for another run of clockers so it will be possible to make some of these.

When I get my axles I will PM you some measurements and degree details As far as sending some coopers ale and my axles, that might be stretching it the offer

I am temporarily out of stock on clockers.
I do have two 25* clockers though.
I should have more made by next weekend.

Here's a simple itinerary of my shipping.

When you guys PM me for parts I will return a PM to you with the cost, my Paypal addy and my shipping days, not to mention answers to your questys, if any.

Most people will send me a PM to tell me payment has been sent.
I don't mind it but also it's not necessary. Paypal sends me an email anyway.

Normally I don't send another PM saying "Thanks, I got your payment" only because I'd be sitting here at the computer all day.
I ship your parts the next ship day if not sooner.

My ship days are always Tuesdays and Fridays, typically around 4:30 pm pac time. I'm packaging around 3:30pm, an hour earlier.
If you send me payment at 4:30pm there's a good chance it won't make it in the mail that day but go out the next ship day.
Many times I'll ship out of those days just to get it out earlier.

I'm just writing this so people understand if I don't get right back to them after their payment has been sent. Your parts will be in the mail the following ship day.
If it's been 10 days and you have not received your parts, PM me.
Since Dec of 2008 I've shipped over 300 parcels, only one has been lost and a two have got caught up in USPS limbo.

Default EnRoute Berg V2 clocker

Today I made a few clockers for this new axle, the EnRoute Berg 2.2 V2.

The only problem is the BHC (bolt hole circle) is much smaller than the V1.
I did not measure the trans angle but have been told it's 15* off zero caster, I'll check tomorrow.
This small BHC and stock index angle leaves little room to make an additional angle change of 15*.
I made these clockers will an index angle of 20*.
After clocking the total index angle, off zero caster, will be 35*.
This could work perfect or be a PITA.
Users can set the trans case angle at 30* off a horizontal plane which will in turn give them a 5* positive caster angle, I like this.
The bad part may be having the motor pushing into the upper links, servo or servo mount.
To make the modification the user will need to scrap three button head 3mm screws, approx 25mm long. The head of the screw will need to be filed away to clear the pilot hole drill. That's how close the mounting holes will be. There is enough room for new threads there without sacrificing strength.
I'm only presuming these may be issues. I have a test axle someone sent me so I'm not setting it into a crawler.
Hopefully my beta tester will give us some feedback on results.
These will be priced the same as my original single angle clockers, $20 shipped. International orders add $1 USD.

Can I test them please? I promise to get my axle case open Sorry I didn't send you measurements, but I had some unforeseen issues with getting the bolts undone. I have been interested in running a bit of caster, but stock they don't have enough clocking to run caster. Pity you can't get about 25* with caster. Anyway I will be interested in these.

Kieren, one has been tested with great results. Oldhippie let me borrow his axle for a couple of days. Last saturday he got his axle back with a clocker and has since clocked his V2. 35* seems great for the V2. I believe he's using a CKRC OTA link and it clears everything fine.
25* would only be 10* on the clocker, not enough room.
International shipping adds 1 more dollar to the price for a total of $21 USD shipped.
Just PM for my Paypal addy and I'll get one out ASAP.

I think I might pick one up, BTW how much total would it be if I got a V2 clocker and a 8mm delrin drill bush?

Thanks

If I could figure out how to resize and post photos (yes I'm a computer idiot) I'd do a real build thread. But I did clock the new berg axles using jeepindoug's clocker and it worked sweet! The CKRC OTA servo mounts bolt right on with no interference. I even have the OTA tierod mounted. Just need to redrill and shorten it to use the inside holes on the new berg high steer arms. I had to drill and tap the inside hole on one arm but I'm told it is hit and miss if ya get arms with both inside holes or not. I don't think 35* is too much and it does allow some caster which is helpful to suck the front down. Here a some really bad photos I was able to load (after 1+ hour).

The year's end shipping went out last night.
I'll still be taking orders through the holidays and domestic shipping will still be possible.
Thanks to all who have ordered through me in my first year as a vendor here.
My vendor status has been renewed and I look forward to another year with some new components to be available.

Happy Holidays!!!

The quick answer is Yes.

Tha Clocker had evolved to an Ult Clocker which is capable of clocking both 20* and 30*.
Most people tend to clock the front 20* and the rear 30*.

I also have a 20* clocker for the Berg V2.
This clocker will raise the bottom of case from a stock 15* to a total of 35*, in which case you use longer uppers to bring it back to 30* and get 5* of kingpin inclination.

This tactic could also be use in the V1 by clocking 30* and then using shorter uppers to get a caster angle of choice.

Just a reminder;
Please don't not expect an automated Paypal shipping note or PM from me after payment.
This does create a lot of work for me and an additional PM to tell folks I got their payment increases that time on the computer when it's not really necessary. Paypal sends the buyer a receipt for money sent.
I do not have an online store for only three different products.
Also, International shipping takes a little bit more time for me.
I need to use a counter-person at the USPS because the APC doesn't have this option. Sometimes I get to the USPS too late for the counter and the APC is a nice option for domestic shipping.
All in all, the shipping gets around pretty quick and in 14 months of offering these product I've had 1 lost and 1 returned due to the USPS.
Not bad odds.
Thanks all, Doug
