I am a fan of tracks. I have a couple rigs using the rc4wd predators tracks. You give up performance but they look cool to me and are unique.

If they do go for $199 that is a good price as the rc4wd set with adaptors will but you near $300.

The price is $199.99. I have a set coming in this Thursday for my sport.

Cool. Be sure to post up some pics. Especially how the tracks connects to the knuckles.

It looks to me it just uses this shock to stay in place. I love it might work with smaller portal covers.

The shock dampens the rotation of the tracks so it doesn't spin freely. What I'm interested in seeing is how that shock connects to the knuckle. That will tell us if they will work with aftermarket portal covers.

It is not easily seen on that picture, unless you know what to look for. It will use 2 screws and fasten to the back of knuckle by U-shaped plastic piece which is connected to shock. So I think no problem with samix inner portals and others based on the original portal shape. And as far as I can see, it should fit over big ssd-rc outer portal weights too. You can see it clearly here :

Rear tracks are longer for better contact, . I really like they used metal bushings instead of small bearings on all small wheels/ pulleys , bearings are only on main drive wheel. That is good as those bottom pulleys will spend lot of time in mud and water/snow.

Also do not expect this to work with stock servo at all, it will need something stronger to turn those.

Looks like that arm fits over the inner portal cover pretty perfectly so I dont think It will work with most aftermarket ones however some are very similar

Agreed. But given you just need a mounting point for the connecting shock I'm sure I could find a way to make something work with my aftermarket knuckles.

Step 1: Convince myself that I don't need these!
Step 2: Watch video.
Step 3: Consider all possible disadvantages of traxx vs tires.
Step 4: Watch another video.
Step 5: Reassure myself that I don't need these.
Step 6: Watch first video again.
Step 7: Make wife watch video.
Step 8: Convince my wife that I need these!
