Looks like that is the way to go. I like how they self-center when the body is attached. I found some on Ebay and will order them.

Me inspiring you ? I’m humbled sir! I see your stuff and the mind goes wild, until I remember I sold the shop and all the good stuff! I have a small shed and bench to tinker. My past styrene background leads me, the backwards paint still confuses me at times! Just keep “Killer” coming !!! Hang up and Drive

Spent a quality rainy Saturday morning, rebuilding the rear shocks, Harley’s second video showed me the correct way. Then after they were done and a quick test run, put the battery on charge, and mounted magnets onto the body. I hate this part, first let paint cure for one week. Then clear tape between magnets and shoe goo to the shell. Now wait 24 hours for all to dry, trim tape and mount rear. I’ve had great luck with these ring magnets, this is the fourth body I’ve mounted. The bed is trimmed, will mount magnets to shell and tape to proper position. When goo sets I will screw them together. Hang up and Drive |

That looks great! I’ve been meaning to paint and mount the same body on my VS4. Glad you got the shocks worked out. They perform amazing when dialed in.

I’m happy too with the shocks finally! They look great, but were an oily mess, and that meant no handling. Now that the bladder is set correct and I don’t overtighten the top cap they rock. Body width is perfect , I actually lowered the front posts one hole. Interior will be a struggle though. Hang up and Drive Last edited by mikemcE; 06-01-2019 at 04:39 PM.

Typical VP product, went together smoothly and fits perfectly. Needed a bit of modification to fit the mid battery tray, HW 1060 slid underneath to operate the winch. Quick drive and I can’t wait for a real run! Hang up and Drive |
