I just looked at this one, can anyone make sense of the transmission setup? It's definitely not the same as a TH. It looks like it shifts at the spur, and not inside the tranny.

This one does not shift at all, it is only a 2 channel radio.
Unless it is some sort of automatic shifting thing.

I guess I could have read the specs and noticed that

I still don't see any of these being close enough in quality to be worth it after the potential cost of upgrading, but that is a pretty cheap alternative if a guy doesn't need the 2 speed.

I have one of these ordered, I have a dispute with PP now, it was returned to sender by chinese customs and reshipped. Tracking shows in transit but if I don't see an update by next friday I will make it a claim. I ordered from Banggood. The main thing I want is that radio, if its hackable to 8ch it would be so much nicer than the gt3c I currently run. To me that radio looks like a blend of the 4pl and the 4pls due to the selector switch, The selectable features on the screen are the same as the GT3c so if I ever get mine I'll run it stock and post a video then I'll open up the radio and see if it has those 4 little pin holes. If it has them it will either be hacked or turned into a beautiful paperweight.

i ordered one from Gear Best for $107.. after taxes and insurance it came out to $169 for a RTR Twin Hammers Knock off.. its got the 2 speed transmission and the 4 pl knock off radio as well. it says 8-10 days shipping so maybe i ll get mine before Exocaged.
Since we know people with real TH.. i ll do a side by side compare. with pictures and all.

^I saw that pic of the "high torque motor" on their website and just about died laughing. That is obviously a stolen pic/rendering of an automotive transmission. Judging it by the funky output, shift tower, and stumpy tail, it'd be a BMW trans. Looks almost identical to the tail housing/output on the rear of my old E21's trans.
