| VCDUD's venom biuld
okay, well i did have a biuld thread but it got deleted. no biggy i was hoping to start a true biuld thread any ways. okay well the last place i left off i had gotten a new set of mayhem wheels. wheel after doing a little turning and i new set of losi 4" shocks, new battery, and some lead wieght i just finally got my creeper to go up a 64 1/2* angel. yes 1/2 a *. believe it or not that 1/2* made the difference from it going up and flipping backward. ill have some pics up to show my newest setup and its true angel.

| Pay attention students... Dalton's is like that partly cuz mine is...it works...but only with Traxxas steel yokes and long truck shafts. The only brand of drive shaft I know of thatll work at the angle some of us run...my rear shaft is above my lower links.

Have you had good luck with that radio? I have the same one, and when I get 15-20 feet away from the crawler it glitches like hell. Is this just because it's FM?

| it wasent so much better, i had to do it for a few reasons. first i had to use 6mm spacers between the tranny and trans mount, so the lower link ball end wouldnt rub on the dig. second is having a shorter drive shaft that would get even shorter with the function of the dig...i never had my drive shaft level. i still had such extreme angles (axial trans off set also) that the small pins in the traxxas yokes would work out to one side causing the drive shaft to pop off. thats when i got the axial drive shaft cup/retainers and cut part of them away so they would keep the pins in but allow the extreme angles...basicly i forced it to work...sorry vcd didnt mean to try to hijack your build thread... before traxxas yokes angle shot |
