Default Japan low slung YSS crawlers

I am sure most everyone has seen this by now, but I couldn't find anything via search, and dang, I can't get over how different and cool these low slung rigs are....

I'm pretty sure that multi-colored bug was at Nats.

It had some crazy 5 link suspension on it if I remember correctly.

Looks like a nice bunch of rigs!

I'd like to see a write up on the rigs that were at Nat's w/ the crazy suspension set up.

I just read. Pretty interesting stuff, and good info at that. An active suspension setup could be pretty crazy on a crawler. Full-scale or r/c. When I was designing my tuber, I googled some real rigs to get a few ideas. The Scorpion MK-1 is actually on air bags with a crazy shock placement. I dabble in full-size suspension work, that's why it sparks my interest lol. I have a wishbone 3-link on my truck with 'bags. Wonder how a 3-link would work on an r/c crawler?

The coolest part about he rig that was at Nats was how small and FAST the motor was.

WoW. My whole perception of crawling just changed. Thank you for posting this information. From crawling to clinging? Seriously? What!
