#5 Comp in the lower level rock lounge is in the books, I have made a correction to my score that didn't affect the standings. (I pointed out upon completion of the first course by hitting a gate so my total points are 40 before progress point credit instead of 35). And there was a correction to places 8, 9, and 10 Throttlejocky finished in 10th not 8th.

I made a post yesterday referring to the brats that we provided at the comp, and stated they were going to be $1.00 each. I didn’t check with Chris, and he didn’t check with me so we both assumed (ASS-U-ME d) the other was being paid for the food. Well as you each probably know (Except T-buck) no one paid me or Chris (Except T-buck) for the eats. I don't know who had what and it really does not matter, what does is we all need to kick a little money in on occasion to cover things like food, drink, power consumption and other things we seem to take for granted at Kasper's.

When ever we crawl at outdoor locations we bring everything we may need from food and drink to spare parts and tools, but that isn't always the case at Kasper’s. There has been times when snacks and sodas have been brought along to Kasper's but it is more the exception than the rule and this includes Tuesday night gtg's along with comp days.

OK, I will now climb off the soap box and let you think about and do what you want with my ranting.

Stinky, wish you would have mentioned something on Sunday about the brats. I would have been happy to have left a 5 spot for my wife an I.

I would like to mention that the comps kind of take the fun out of rock crawling. We were there for 5 hours and I had less then 15 minutes of stick time, just on the two runs that I did.

It was nice visiting and talking crawlers with every one, I learned alot.

The tuesday sessions are normally when we did most of our bashing / tuning. We are trying to get help building the Hobby Town Course so any time someone wants track time they can go there, pay a few bucks and crawl all they want. We will be working on the hobby town setup on sunday starting at 10, the build days can be followed in another thread.

It's the same as any other rc event, more waiting than action. I spend at least 5,6 or more hours at the track, and race 15-20 minutes total. Yeah, it sucks but thats how it is.

When warmer weather returns, be sure to look us up for crawler outtings at some pretty awesome places. I guarantee you'll be "all crawled out" when its over. We've been known to hit the rocks for the better part of the day, and it's always a grin .

Troy.

As we all know, it is now 2010, and the new usrcca rules are out. They can be accessed here http://usrcca.com/rules/2010.pdf for you viewing pleasure. I have a couple of copies avaliable for review also. Kasper would like to set it to a vote to see if the majority of the club members want to complete the fall and winter series with the 2009 rules or change over to the 2010. It looks like most of the changes were for clairification and the only point type change would be -2 for clearing a section. We can discuss it on sunday at the hobby town build.

I thought that the -2 was for bonus gates, maybe I read it wrong. It's not really clear.

We have decided to use the 2010 USRCCA Rules for the remainder of the series ( http://usrcca.com/rules/2010.pdf ). Please review the rules for any changes from 2009 rules. Any questions can be sent to any FVRCC member for clairfication and if unsure we will find the answer.

I have made a couple of changes to the website, check it out and let me know what you think. I am now off to apply the special sauce to the white rovers, or will I run the blue rovers? Maybe a mixture of red and blue. As long as I do better than the guy with the green machine life is good....
