I tore the front end apart on mine to make some changes. CVD's and new bearings in the front axle . Without the bumper you can really see how low the chassis extends. I'd like to chop and lift the front forks for better clearance, kinda scared to hack it up though

DO IT! Worry about fixing it later.

I'm thinking if I cut it right I can bolt the pieces back on, only more tucked and lifted. Room for the steering servo might be tight though.

I received the Devil driveshaft. All metal, splined. It has a special spline so it stays clocked properly. I haven't installed it yet. that is my next step.

Here it is compared to the Jun Fac.

Looks pretty nice. I've looked at those a hundred times online, curious as to how well they work and hold up.

I hope they last too. I could have gotten a longer one for this application though. I think it'll work.

How is the cross pin held in place? Single or dual setscrews at the ends?

Dual set screws and the thru pin from the MIP's works. Bonus!

Try and reinforce it on the inside with pieces of styrene.

Ol' Otis is getting a new set of SSD axle cases. Should look pretty good.

I would try and use the cantilever set up. I didn't have much luck with the inboard shocks. You could try short shocks. I went to a shorter shock on Otis and it made a world of difference. Trial and error.
