Just sat here and read all 18 pages. Dude you have some amazing skills. That truck has been through some awesome changes, just when I thought it couldn't get any better you out did the last build. Right now it looks friggin awesome. Just wondering what happened to your metal bodies? The carange made me laugh so hard I couldn't see from the tears.

WOW! you really outdid yourself this time!! I love the paint scheme! I skimmed through the thread but didn't see if you are planning on making full doors for "winter" wheeling? that would totally take it over the top!

Action shots anyone?
Now running a modded bruiser transmission with three 4wd ratios and also left the 750 motor for good measure.
Its a quick little Bugger.

I have some CAC beadlocks coming for it to, just for good measure!

great job. We have a local 1:1 with the same paint here locally. I wish I could find a 4Runner body like that, I woudl be in line to buy them since I can't even come close to making it.

Niel,
Make sure you pin that slipper gear, once it starts slipping they tend to not stop. How I know

Loop lock pool cover + heavy ass OG mounty = slipping slipper gear

BTW you got pics of the new interior? I see its not right hand drive anymore.

You can drill and tap it. You gotta be careful because you dont want the screw head protruding past the gear. if you use a 3mm button head in like 3 locations (make a triangle) it should be good to go.

Or... if you can find one, a kyosho USA-1 counter gears works great. Thorp also made a version that the part that goes into the trans was actually metal and they were real tough. They are just pricey and tough to find now a days.

Neil, I have one of those gears if you're interested in it. Let me know.

I'm on it.
I have one of the new Bulldog Winches coming from RC4wd as we speak so a new front bumper is probably on the cards too.
