Ya I know, i read that and i thought that it is funny that he is picking out a small detail and complained about it. So I had to throw a smart ass comment in there.

The Arches will do there close enough!
There's so many variations of 4Runner to chose from.

Lets just say there:-
Limited Editon Dready Offroad Arches for Maximum Flex !!

Not sure on the Orange maybee going with some funky 80's toyota graphics instead.

Just working out the Front Body mount at the moment.
and what a headache that's turning out to be.

Almost got the drill out but i think i have found a way of not showing any fixings.

The 80's graphics could look cool. I do like the simple gunmetal and orange look though.

I do too to be honest i dont want it to fusy if that makes sense.
plus being quite a dark colour the graphic's would need to be quite bright to actually stand out.
Will do all the other jobs first.

On another note that Axial Transmission you sold me aint half quiet compared to the Rc4wd one in my other Yota.
I'm well Impressed.

Default Sweet Build Buddy!

I love it! sweet wheels and I love the crushers/(BFG Krawlers)!
I have a bruiser body, bed etc and have been throwing around the idea of making an early 4runner out of it as well. I have been drawing up some roll cages for my cj5 scaler I'm going to do and drew up a cage for a 4runner without a top. Quite honestly I'd never build the top. I'd just modify the nose and fender flares, change the grille etc., and not worry about the top at all. I'd just do interior stuff and through seating in the back.
I might have to buy another bruiser cause I love the older hilux's and still want to build one. I love the top with rack though!
Dang good job!
One of my all time favorites I've seen in scalers on this forum!

Well i wasn't feeling the wheels on my 4Runner they made it look a bit to rugged.
So i went for a rumage in my boxes off bits and turned up a set of 4 i have no idea what.
There plastic metal finished wheels
Look good though make the truck a bit more subtle.
There not quite 1.9 every so slightly larger but the Rc4wd 1.9 Crushers fit nicely.

Have also started on the new interior with a new driver to finish it off.
Lots more details to add yet but here's a few shots so you can see whats what so far.

Here's the interior so far.

Have been watching a thread by Crashaholic on Scale 4x4 forum and figured it would be really cool not only to have a 4runner but also a body in metal that i can beat on.

This is my progress so far i'm amazed how easy it is to form around the exsisting body should have tried this ages ago.
More soon.
