You should send some pics of this thing in to Peterson's or whatever mag it was when you're done. Great job man. Looking forward to seeing it finished.

Good! something with that much work and effort put into it shouldnt sit around. This HAS to be the best build to date, and only in 3 weeks

well i got my frame back from my sand buy last week and got some updates.

got my gauges in the dash pots

just have to install the GPS and the rest of the welder parts plus find where the keys went

so i got my shocks in and started wrenching on the bottom.

chewed out some shock mounts ( they'll get died black once done )

pretty darn close to looking like the real thing?

and the front

also got my pan rod setup

now for some brain usage ....... how do i get this steering down to an inch?

found some lever thingy for airplanes to use for mock up

drilled some holes

chopped it up, added some bushings and ball ends

and i got something like this

this is just the mock up piece, the finished piece is aluminum and a about 3mm longer allowing me more throw.

so for the rear axle i dug out a block of the good stuff

after a few hours of sawing, gnawing and chewing the fat off

and after a little clean up

camera batteries died before i could get mocked up pictures but they'll be soon.

well thats about it for now. she did stand overnight on shocks with about 4'' of belly clearance 110mm i got are just a bit too tall so gonna grab some 90mms this week.

but she is painted .................................................. ...............

she gets the gloss coat tonight .......
