That's a tidy sum of rigs to proficently achieve such a plan. That's a sweet Origin. The body nice and low and the colors are refreshing. I occasionally contemplate all the wasted time and money in my junk...theen I drift into a dream where someone knocks on my door and makes an offer on all of it. The house and all the crap in in. We Make a quick negotiation, i get in my truck with my backpack, all the dough and hit the road. Free, free of it all. It's a great dream Sent from my SM-G990W using Tapatalk |

Thank you. I do really like the origin myself. I had listed it for sale at a price I could live with if it sold, but even though there was lots of interest nobody stepped up and actually paid for it. So the only way that it made sense to stay in my fleet was to get a trans upgrade and straight axles. And I’m a little relieved that it turned out that way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Had about an hour of rc time this weekend and I was able to get the Fordyce wrapped up. Ended up going the easy/cheap route for electronics. I robbed the carbon side trays and receiver plate from the mullet. Protek 370tbl that was in the mullet Hobbywing 1080 Crawlmaster sport 13t with a 15t pinion (56t spur) Final RTR weight minus battery And that just leaves me with the (fourth btw) vrd carbon kit to build. I ended up grabbing a green stance body off FB and sold the cliffhanger body. Maybe this will finally be the one I actually build. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Well the stance body showed, as well as a new vfd dig in clear that I impulse bought for a good deal… that may end up on the fordyce. Hoping to get some rc work done this weekend, I’ve been neglecting it over my new found hobby. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Thanks Indy, the c10 parked next us right before we left, I couldn’t not take a picture of it. All of those except the bridge were taken on cinestill 400d film which gives it a bit of a retro look for sure. It’s been interesting to see how different films render different results Quote:
Surprisingly no, if you’re willing to spend some time watching eBay auctions, and buy one that’s “untested”. I’ve bought 4 k1000’s anywhere from $70-$100 with a lens. These are all mechanical units except for the light metering system, and have a pretty good reputation for reliability Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yes I drew those up a while ago and had them cut by sendcutsend. I also made a different version for the pro/ultra. The ones shown were the prototype and I messed up the rear outer hole, but later versions were correct Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

| Re: Twade’s Terrible Financial Decisions I’ve had it since they first released them. I was planning on building my first vrd kit over thanksgiving, but ended up trading the kit for a 6x6. My second vrd got cannibalized for the Fordyce, the third kit I parted out, and now four months and four kits later I’m finally getting to it

| Re: Twade’s Terrible Financial Decisions I was literally so frustrated after searching for 3 weeks for one, that I ordered the spacers, and a fullsize top shaft and made my own (Literally just cut to length, drill hole for gear pin) and making a set of motor mounts (gotta love 3d printers). Which means I've opted to run without the lower motor skid plate. Here's to hoping I don't munch an outrunner too bad. |

Slow going. Left to do are shocks and esc install, plus wire management. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
