Maybe not, but they'll look sweet while they last.

Most impressive. What is the Mercedes kit? Is it one of those Tamiya scale truck deals?

The body and tranny are from the Tamiya Mercedes 1838, http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/ite...oduct-id=56305
which may end up getting disco'd soon. Word is that the Volvo Globetrotter (which shares the Mercedes' chassis) has been disco'd, although Tamiya's site shows both in stock.

Tonight I'll pick up some diamond plate for under the fifth wheel and that should be all I need.

Then we'll see some pics! I'd better charge the camera

Default Rocks 1, Servo 0

Well, the JR Sport ST125 MG is OFF my recommended list as of right now. The servo puked about three minutes into the shakedown run (right after pic #2 was taken) so the rest of the pics were shot while I wasn't driving the best lines

The truck's a lot more stable than you'd think. I expected to tip it over, but no. Gotta thank Ben's chassis for that, not too many designs could handle all this weight up top.

Now to work on that diamond plate, and change the servo.

dang man. Now I really want to get a tamiya kit! First thing first though, get the hobby room done. Until then I can just look at all your builds and pretend they are mine
