Tyler, get that one built, you've got an extremely rare prototype there, one of only three made. And don't you dare sell it |

Here's how that big ol' 3-speed will fit between the chassis rails without sacrificing wheel travel. Laying it down would ordinarily mean cutting the frame, but thanks to Rikpal, my German truck has a little Italian magic (to go with its All-American chassis)

Those are sweet little outrunners, and that motor plate is very nice too! Park 350? How much runtime do you get with such a "conservative" motor?

John, that's a Park 400, and I have no idea what the runtime is, since I haven't run it yet. Should be similar to the Axi, about 40 minutes on 2/3A cells. This rig has a pack of IB1400's, so perhaps longer. Perhaps not, as it's also quite a bit heavier than the Nanotube.

why dont you use lipo's? the motor and esc are more than capable they weigh much less and have longer runtimes per Mah than ni cd/mh

Try a Holmes Revolver. Specially selected by johnrob himself for crawling, and available in the Vendors section. But they weren't out when I put this package together. Not to say one won't find its way in there.

Excellent.................... So is this the chassis that was holding up the "Stunimog" build? Can it be assumed that this is the New Stunimog thread then? I'm really gonna be watching this one.............love them trials trucks! |

This is indeed the new and improved Stunimog thread. Don't bother searching for the old one, it's long gone to thread heaven. I saved all the pics, and I'll feed them in or take new ones as the build progresses. The chassis is in the mail.
