Well, I have a BR-XL already, and if I ever want to run a 4 channel setup in a XR10, I will likely want to run dual BR-XLs. Just a thought at the moment. For motors, I am strongly considering Brood motors.

Yeah, I figured as much. I am checking the mailbox every day now. But, to be honest, I am waiting on a ton of stuff right now.

2 sets of zero ackermann knuckles
2 front VP 4 link plates
Nova Ark Dual stage foams
Losi Shocks

and a bunch of misc stuff. Also, I still dont have any wheels on order. I am trying though.

Well, now I am starting to lose my cool. I ordered a ton of stuff from several different vendors...several of which are either not even started or lost.

My confidence is getting destroyed with this Chinese post office.

I think this project is doomed.

Don't be discouraged Casey, you'll at least have some BA wheels to show! They should ship as we discussed... I will see if I can light a fire under my color guy to hurry things up though!

Oh Im not talking about you Paul. Your communication has been great.
Im very much looking forward to seeing the end result!

You know, what I said up above is not really accurate or fair. To be honest, my irritation is mostly due to the fact that I now have 2 packages lost by the Chinese post office, and not a thing I can do about it. Both items had tracking numbers through the USPS as well. My confidence is shattered in my ability to have products shipped to me. This place is really getting to me, and I vented it in the wrong direction.

It is not your fault Keith. I have a lost package from Holmes Hobbies and your links are not here either. I am hoping they will show this week.

I will let you know.

Well, there is some light at the end of the tunnel. So, it turns out...the local delivery guy claims to have been trying to deliver my junk, only to leave promptly and have to return day after day. Finally, I was able to go to the post office and pick up my stuff. Most of it anyway. So, it looks like I will have a fun weekend inside while it storms outside.

Thats a nice delivery.

I like the HH range of motors either hand wounds or 500 pullers with a cc side winder or hhbrxl. Stewbaru was running a 500 puller when he killed his out drives.

Yeah, I wont run a puller...I was thinking more along the lines of a Brood 35T with another BR-XL.

I am doing some mock up right now, and measuring for upper links etc. Nevermind the 3 link, shocks, and rear servo. These are just for measuring and checking.
For first impressions, the steering is awesome. No binds, no issues. Today, I am expecting my HS-7954 servos and my Nova Double Deuce foams.

Default Finally taking some shape!

Here we go....

1. Mounted dual VP 4 link plates
2. Mounted dual HS-7954SH servos
3. Mounted Losi shocks limited to 3.75"
4. Stuffed the dual stage Nova Double Deuces foams (5.5") into the Rovers

The tie rods have perfect clearance and will need no modifcation. The caster angle front and rear is great, and the pinion angle is great.

Tomorrow I will cut and mount my 4 links and begin work on my drag links.

Thanks! I appreciate it. Hopefully, this week and next week will be good for getting some real progress.

I am currently trying to decide on a receiver, and may even go with a stick radio for several channels. RPPHobby has a bitchin 8 channel Airtronics setup for $200, and that is likely my first choice. We will see.

The idea with this build is to be a prelude to a super build. So, a multi channel radio is mandatory.
