The hubs...I'm not sure. I think they are SLWs. I will have them next week and can let you know. Casey Quote:

I got my delivery from TCS this morning. Installed the MIP driveshafts. The angles are perfectly in line with the lower links and pointed straight at the transmission. |

Well, the STRC skid sucks, so I made my own. I have an EEM skid in my other frogger, but the EEM has some things that I dont like...so, why not fix them with my own design? |

Well, I decided to change up my wiring diagram to match that of the Castle Creations website. I wanted to keep both of my servos at the same voltage, and I think this method will work just find.

Well, I got my wiring temporarily finished. It will still need to be cleaned up, but I just wanted to start tuning before my Brood motor gets here. Right now, I am testing with a 65T RC4WD motor and a 20 tooth pinion gear. And, of course I had to take a pic of the twins next to each other. I got to say, it is so much fun driving the different rigs and the differing styles. Some things, the 4 steer rig works awesome, because it turns tight as hell, is super light, and has a very low COG. The dig rig is heavy, controllable, and fun in a different way. I love these things. Casey |

Looking good man, you need to get some scratches on those axle casings though. |

I am very happy with my decision to work with Paul. These wheels are narrow, lightweight....and just great so far. I would totally order from Paul again when I need wheels.

So, I decided that that steering setup sucked...so I put in an order to CKRC for a PunkRC dual steer switch. I gotta say...this thing makes all the difference. Now, it has 3 modes with my 3 position third channel: dual steer, front steer, crab walk. Also, to make things nice and easy, there is a tri-color LED that flashes letting you know what mode you are in. When in dual steer, it blinks green. In front steer, it blinks red. In crab walk, it blinks blue. Here is my new wiring diagram. Casey |

I decided that I did not like my upper links any more. The bend in the delrin creates a weak spot, and TT is nasty. So, I decided that I wanted titanium. But, not just any titanium would do...I wanted titanium rod. So, this is 6mm titanium rod with 1cm drilled and tapped on each end to accept m3 screws that Axial uses. Also, you can see that I am going to test an aluminum front D-link style mount for the 4 links. These should work great for this 4 steer rig. |
