Yep. I can see the point. That's not intimidating at all in comparison to a ARTC AX10.
It'd be more intimidating if you painted the hood like a phallus and named the rig "Gonzo"

And just ask your clubs to make s consolodation on the sportsman class that will allow bodiless?

Or just pick up the t1e Stage. then you can run a body can keep relatively the smae suspension geometry 9for the t1e owners that is)

T1e's AX10 chassis uses the cab for the right side structural support. I already made a piece to tie them together.

I was already considering the phallus shading on the front, though. I was going to name it Red Rocket, though.

If I have to put a body on my T1E Moonbuggy Sporty, I'll just cut the lower rail off the upper cab and run it. I'm sure it will be plenty strong.

You can do that. I did basically that, but cut a new piece that follows the same contour as the bottom of the moonbuggy cab.

I'm sure shelby can figure out something on this sporty build, too. it's just a shame, cause it looks so cool!

Where does this info come from though?

For me it's the opposite. Bodied attracted me to scale, but not to crawling.

I much prefer the look of bodiless rigs. To me, they look much more like 1:1 comp crawlers I have seen. The bodied rigs look too cut up and fake to be interesting.

BTW Shelby, the rig looks bad ass!

So... yeah. This build is great and it's giving me ideas. I like how you trimmed the posts on the rear axle to get that D-link down some. I might have to borrow that idea for my rig.

Don't do it! Mine ripped out, so I have switched to a R2J 4 link mount. I'll get some pics of it soon.

But then your link geometry.. It gets.. There are the... The axle side separation.. The, the. The antisquat man! There has to be some sort of loss I have not read about or quantified when you lose vertical separation of the links.

Well it pained me to do so, but this car is now bodied.

Working on some changes, new lighter trans setup, wheels/tires, etc.

And the rear truss.

After ECC I will be switching to the Creation Fab delrin beef tubes.
