personally, i believe 45T is best of both worlds. not too fast, not too little torque. Just about right..

but since you've been running a 27T.... AND stock motor.. seems like a modified 35T will fit you better, because the jump from 27t to 45T is huge...
Hmm, it didn't seem to large a gap between the 55t's post had on the XR and my 27t, he was just a bit slower but had obviously better performance with low speed/torque. I'm attributing most of that to gearing obviously but I'm sure with the right gearing the 45t would be interesting.... I may try a cheap 35T, if I like it, i'll stick with it till it croaks.... if I don't, theres always the 45T.

The gears are gonna kill me though lol.

if your just testing, get some RC4wd motors! i used them. $10 ea. and very good! IMO. This way, you can use it, then trash em.

Right back to where I am now with those though since the length is the same as the one I got in there lol. But Yeah it'll give me a rough idea as to the speed difference.

thanks man.

Don't start that noise. You got me scurred now.

Either way, have two backups (+ the axial 27t) I think will fit the bill if I can get them for the right price. Still working the deal.

Doubt it, I haven't heard back from the guy who has the other motors. We'll see. I wouldn't mind having them but I don't really need 2, and I don't want to spend that much money on motors I may not like.

For those of you running the fastback II Chassis with MIP/junfac's w/o digs

What shafts are you running? Model number wise?
