My black shock body's took a few weeks to get full, smooth travel. Even with the machined pistons. After wrestling with the mess of stock scx stuff, a break in period is a welcomed problem |

Got any pics of the fully assembled shocks? Glad you got the shafts and I'm looking forward to hearing your feedback on them |

| Re: Sourdough's SuperSport Truck I've built a few sets of these shocks now, and I found that the Axial machined pistons vary. Out of 8 machined pistons, I had 2 that were a larger diameter and would stick in the shock bodies. I switched them between all the shock bodies and found that it was the pistons causing the issue. So anybody that is building these, keep that in mind if you run into an issue.

Here is a little update for you guys... The new shocks have really helped this sporty come to life. The combination of lighter springs and thinner shock oil help keep the truck planted and predictable. The only other change I have made is some new wheels and tires. Voodoo tires of course, RcBros hooked it up with the 3 piece wheels! Here is the new weight 3lbs 8.8oz (minus battery ~2oz) |

We just had a comp last Saturday and weather turned out GREAT! Especially for Oregon, sunny and 65*. The rocks were still very slippery and the courses proved to be more challenging than we thought. Since my XR10 is still down with electronics issues, I ran my sportsman truck against the MOA guys again for the second comp in a row. Ended up getting 1st in both Pro and Sporty |

Had another great comp on Saturday. I didn't set enough time aside to wire up my XR-10 yet, so I ran my sporty in the pro class and was able to take the win again! Here is a clip of my truck driving a bonus gate (afterwards) http://youtu.be/ldrRKEAgfbQ?list=UUl...6gOGV8LkWsFCbA |

| Re: Sourdough's SuperSport Truck Thanks guys! I usually get criticized for my courses being too hard haha. But yeah, there would have had to been a lot of gates with "dig required" I was able to get 53 points on the guy in 2nd place |
