Yes it has been, all most 4 years . I have miss seeing everyone . But hey I will be there if nothing comes up this year .

Well I made a trip to the local hobby store today (98.6 mile round trip) . There is 2 somewhat closer but they never have anything you go to get . Anyway I picked up my some pearl, white and metallic black paint . Some micro Deans and some 16awg silicone wire . My plans are to decase the BR-XL ESC and rewire it with 16 gauge wire . I will heat shrink the bec on top of the decased ESC . Should make for a nice small package .

My white Rovers and Crawler Innovations foams came in today . I can't say enough about how sick these foams are . Eddie is a master when it comes to foams setups . I paln on doing some cutting to the Rover I will post pic later on that .
I sat down about 5pm and started taping the body for paint . I ended up painting the hood scoop, roof scoop , a strip down the door and the drop part in the back metallic black . The strip on the door fades to silver . The rest of the body was sprayed pearl then sprit white . It turn out pretty good . Black and white theme goes along with what some call me on here . "TRUGGY Police"
I mounted a set of 1.9 wheels on it tonite just to work on the setup . Funny thing is they are the same as a 2.2 Masher 2k and Moab back in the day . lol I got word my Mayhem Eng. wheels are in the mail . I am stocked !!

Thank you, I can't wait I have not had this felling about an RC in a long time . I was starting to get burnt out on scalers . This rig has me building like crazy again .

Well I started my tires this morning . Thanks to Ashton for the sipe pattern . I did add my own twist, but for the most part I copied what he did for my front two . On the rear I not going to do the cross cuts . Only the cuts going with the thread .

I was checking out the pictures and was telling myself, "whew, that wheelbase is a little long". Then I actually read and saw they were 1.9's.

Thank you and LOL The 1.9 does make it look very long . But it is 12.49 sitting at ride height . I hope by Monday I wil have my Mayhm's here and mounted up .

Well I got the rear tires cut today too . Like I said in my other post I didn't do the crass cut on them . Other than that they are the same as the fronts .

I order some Blue Monkey XR-10 knuckle weights and the super20tuner kit tonite . I can't wait to get them . I have never ran a rig with knuckle weights . I have always ranweight in my wheels .

Thanks Joe, I tried hard to have it ready for the AL. comp today,but a few parts didn't get here in time . I am planning on make a trip to LRC next weekend . Most likely on Sunday .

Hey Andy, those BMRC weights are for stock style knuckles. Unless he has a new version for VP knuckles that I don't know about.

As far as I know VP, Dlux, and Nordic are the only ones that make weights for the VP knuckles.
