Default I always wanted a EVO..

What up RCC Crawler's!

I have wanted a Lancer EVO, since they came out.. This is a little at the opposite end of the spectrum, but with the same goals in mind.. PERFORMANCE!

As most of us know, Bruce/BDN of BmachineRC, has a little knowledge in that department. (or should we call it luck?) lol..
I dunno or care.. Go check out some Remedy builds and see the results they are putting out. ;)

Bruce and Derrick have been running this chassis for a couple years or so.
Bruce with scx and Derrick with ar60's(now scx as well)..

Now, down to the thread!
Since this is the other end of the spectrum, I'm going to start the thread the same way...

So here's the EVO, built and ready to crawl tomm!

Lightning, needs some fitment..

So instead of cutting and hacking, in a hurry.. I'm going to be running with the spirit of Crawllife tomm!

3lbs 8oz RTR... Not to shabby..

I will follow up with the build info and video, from tomm's comp, as I get time..
A little info, after a pack or two..
At first thoughts, I thought I was driving my Remedy!
This sporty is silky smooth and performs like no other!

The test will be on the rocks tomm, at the first start gate..

That hurt came with a price... 3rd place at NENC and 5th place at World's!

3rd place behind Derrick/M_Energy, that was running a EVO!

Thanks Butch and Josh! It works OK... Lol..

So I went to Connecticut for a Cash Comp, that Butch killed!
A well put on comp, coffee, donuts, massive Fancy sub, and Cash!!! ;)

Built and thrown on the start line.. I like it!

So the idea was to keep things Random..
Cards where drawn by the driver's, for each course..

C1.. I got a 2..
So I'm first up..
Without knowing the rig and not getting any real drive time, I just went for it..
During the walk thru, I looked at the bonus and didn't see it happening.. But no point in not trying it, right!?

C1.. CT, Cash Comp
https://youtu.be/H0VU0NKJ-KY

After this, I went and ran the Pro class C2.. Minus a couple rebacks and maybe a possible gate, I didn't find much issue in finishing.. Almost seemed easier with the sporty, then the pro..

Now with a little bit of comfort and feel for the rig,
On to course 2...

Stankass was all talk! (And I mean shit talking..)

Butch is up and then me.. At this point, a few -14's where the score to beat..
Butch came out with a -27(I believe).. So I told him "you know I can't let you beat me, with a Boxer, right".. Lol..

So my turn it is!

C2.. CT, Cash Comp
https://youtu.be/ylTSLwd30Wk

BAM!! Those Crawllife flames Killed it!

The BmachineRC EVO kept me smiling All day long!

As you saw in the video's, it's a performer!
It goes up rocks, down rocks, on the side of rocks, and even turns up hill sideways!

Crawltober fest, for EPA, is this weekend..
There will be some major line testing, at Rausch Creek!

At this point, the only thing I'm looking to change, is a little front ride height and maybe a touch of weight..

Sporty finals course..

It was our 8th course of the day, sun's going down, 4hr drive home.. Go time!

From the first driver (doo's) the rock seemed slick, but biting.. To Dan that ran before me(doo's).. We where losing traction Fast!

Well, do-over's didn't do it either.. :(

But, I've watched the video a few times and learned a thing or 2.. So that's all that matters with a new rig..
Drive time, drive time, drive time!
Tune and trust your rig.
Change what doesn't work..

So here goes the Blast, we call comp!

https://youtu.be/5W-ix0Iol-0

Headed to Rausch Creek, home of the NENC, tomm.
Crawltoberfest weekend!

I'll try to get more video.

I think the last course would have been awesome, if tires where hooking right. But fun none the less!

Having video is fun.. When you can stop, replay, and slow motion..

I Never hit the bottom gate on 8.. Just to clarify! Baahahahaha...

Temperature of those rocks definitely makes a difference. I've run that same course 4 times this week and it was way more grippy on a mid 60's day.

We had a comp at Rausch Creek this weekend.
Where we did Pro, but my son had his sporty.. So after the comp was over, we ran the course's.

I set the course's up, to specifically test things I wanted to test.

Before we ran, I adjusted my front shocks.
I originally was setup in the top hole. Then before the CT Cash Comp, I moved to the middle hole.
Now I'm in the bottom hole.

Still climbs like a champ! (It doesn't look that steep in the pic, but I assure you, it is!)(that and, it was the steepest I could let it sit and get a pic..) Lol..

And sidehill's like crazy! (Again, doesn't look so bad, but it was the best I could do to get it to stay, without being under power).. OD/UD kept it sucks down under power.

In the end, I'm pretty stoked! Specially to get back out on the rocks!

Thanks Stan!
Sorry I missed out on the comp at Rock Island.. :(

But this weekend will be another chance at it, for the EVO!

I'm heading down to TN to comp with the likes of Chicklet, Mr.Chicklet, Gsrcivic, Harvo, etc, etc, etc... Aaaaaannnnddddd... Team BmachineRC!!!
BDN, M_Energy, Constant Threat, and myself will get a chance to test, tune, and crawl.. So, 4 (I think) EVO's will be on site.. I'll post pics and video..

I better get some packs in!
