Initially I wanted to place the battery on the electronics-plate behind the servo,-low and tidy
But changing the battery when it's placed there can be a challenge,-especially with the body on. And I could not find a place that I was happy with for the electronics elsewhere than that nice plate behind the servo.....

So.....I hacked out an alu plate for placing the battery on the front axle,-not the prettiest piece,-but probably not the final version,-so it will do for now.

Any pics of it with the body off since you've made all this progress?

Finally sorted out the electronics, used connectors "everywhere" for easy replacement of components

The RTR weight is now 1499 gram with alu rear locker, steel front locker, stainless beef tubes and 54 gram of knuckle weights each side

Can't wait for the rock to dry up for the first test-run

At last,-first test-run today,-and I have to say I'm very pleased with the performance of the rig
This first set-up can't be far off,-it behaved just about as I wanted it to do

Shaved off another 10 grams by replacing the alu SCX10 shocks with the plastic version

And another idea stolen from the fantastic crawler encyclopedia that the RCC forum really is !
Replaced the pre-load collars with lengths of clear fish tank tubing PVC hose

First round of the Norwegian series today, with a total of five shafty drivers I took my first win with the SuDuOne FL

Very happy with the performance of the rig,- and I really like the Holmes 400 Puller !!
