Testing has gone well, no major issues up to this point. There are a few loose ends to wrap up but otherwise we are in full production on 90% of the parts. The ship date is still mid-July from the factory and should hit most stores towards the beginning of August.

Here is just a little teaser photo for everyone.

Thanks,
Axial

PS. It can articulate quite a bit more than shown once you trim the body.

that looks about enough articulation rite there

Give them a break. At least they are trying to make sure that everything is good to go BEFORE releasing it.That is nice to see. Some other companies just want to get the product out and have to deal with the lack of testing later.I'm sure that it will be worth the wait for you guys.

WOW, I was lucky enough to sweet talk the pistol out of the Axial guys.
I drove the Ax-10 with the new compound tires at the 2007 Axial west coast championships. Anyone there will remember gates 3 and 4 on Saturdays 3rd course. Almost everyone was going around the top of the gates and coming down to them because the climb was so steep. I was able to drive the climb and clean clear the gate 3 from the bottom. WOW.
You guys are going to love this rig. It's a very nice working setup and the new compound tires flat hook up.

Thanks for the test drive guys!!!!!!!!!

We have been working very hard on getting everything completed for this project. We are set to ship the first production run on the 16th of July from our factory overseas, that should put it into shops mid to late August.

We have updated the press release with all new photos and the final parts list. We already have some option parts that we are working on for the kit and we will be getting more info out on those shortly.

Thanks,
Axial

Just wondering what the after release price will be?
Will it be under the $300 price tag?

First, stop making so many requests of Axial; let them spend their time doing what they do best and crank out those new AX10s!

To answer your background question, just save the picture. Then open MS Windows Explorer. Right click on the picture file you've saved it as, and select "Set as Desktop Background." Easy.

Anyone care to share the motor & esc set up they plan to run on their new AX10? I'm very new to crawling, and am curious to see what people's electronic choices will be.

I'll be hitting JRH up for another Mamba Max and Crawlermaster for mine. The combo is completely unstoppable in my WK.
