There seems to be some confusion on it being a ready to run, I am not sure that we ever labeled it a ready to run, and must not have made it clear that it is a kit, you have to build it.

An ARTR would imply that it was a rolling chassis that was pre-assembled at the factory, which it is not.

Sorry for any confusion, I just want to make sure that everyone understands that they are going to have to completely assemble it before running.

Thanks,
Axial

Where did you get the idea it was ready to run?

I received my Tower monthly flyer and the AX10 is advertised in the magazine...at $289 IIRC

sorry if this is to nooB, but what gives on that price, for another $50 do you get anything more?

reading that manual just made me want it more.

Im glad they they have options such as the battery/servo front axle mount, 30° kick up links and stuff, but i think the battery/servo mount should have been stock...

ill defenately be investing in the aluminium shock bodies...

If this thing is truely a $425 MSRP - don't you think that's a tad (well, a lot) expensive for just a rolling chassis?

I mean, you can get a Wheely King 4x4 RTR kit for $200...I'm not saying wheely king is as good as the AX10, but still.

If it is $425, if I want one of these since I'ma nitro guy (currently have a Savage w/ lots invested in it) I will have to buy: another radio, motor, esc, batteries, charger which will easily add up to another $300-400.

The $250 that Tower Hobbies says seems a lot more reasonable...but who knows if they're right.

I'm new to this sort of thing, I saw the Wheely king on the HPI website so I started watching videos on youtube, which then brought me to rccrawler.com, scale4x4rc.com and other such sites and now I want a crawler baaaaaad haha. This chassis looks sweet. But IMO not worth $400
