Cool, thanks guys! How does that Mamba setup work in the water - occational puddles, running on rainy days, etc? If I have the $$, I'd will probably go brushless for more hours of play. Also, for batts, will you use just 6-cell NiMH's or will you dabble with LiPos? I can't wait to get mine running (once I convince the Mrs it's a reasonable expenditure ).

The mamba max has a protective coating on the circuit board, to make it water resistant. The occasional puddle will be fine, but I personally wouldn't chance totally submerging it, but other people may have a different opinion(ORCRC crew ) I try to avoid water as much as possible.

First, stop making so many requests of Axial; let them spend their time doing what they do best and crank out those new AX10s!

To answer your background question, just save the picture. Then open MS Windows Explorer. Right click on the picture file you've saved it as, and select "Set as Desktop Background." Easy.

Anyone care to share the motor & esc set up they plan to run on their new AX10? I'm very new to crawling, and am curious to see what people's electronic choices will be.
that makes 2 of us 2 be new to the rock crawling world of excitement :-P

Are the axles on these as wide as a TLT's or is it wider? Or how does it compare in width to a Wheely King's axle which is wider then a TLT's?

Not likely. If it does, it will be the first kit I've seen that comes with the body painted.

Default Noob learnin' to Crawl....

Hello RCC fans! I just ordered my Scorpion yesterday, and I'm pretty hyped on the truck. I picked up a JR 3 channel raditio, Momba Max esc, and a Ultra High Torque Servo. I still am unsure about the motor and batteries, but I'm thinking a 2 or 3 cell Lipo and possibly a Crawlmaster.

Anyone know if there is a Crawlmaster 2 in the works, or is JRH just working on some new motors?
Where's a good place to get Lipo's at a decent price?

Thanks,
Mark "Smoke"

PolyQuest has a great lipo battery and the lowest prices I have ever seen.
